We prefer to receive online registrations.

VAT rules

ONSITE Symposium registration fees are taxable in Croatia. Croatian VAT must be invoiced to individuals and companies, regardless of their individual VAT registration (applicable to EU & non-EU countries). 

ONLINE Symposium registration fees – here are the rules:

  • If the invoice is for private person, Croatian VAT should be charged.
  • If the invoice is for company or institution from EU countries for entities registered in VIES (with valid EU VAT number) you will get the Invoice with REVERSE CHARGE procedure (Croatian VAT will be excluded).

If entity is not registered in VIES, the Croatian VAT should be charged.

  • If invoice is for the company or institution from the third countries, you will get the invoice excluding Croatian VAT.
  • For all participants from Croatia – Croatian VAT should be charged.

Please make sure you have the correct invoice address (billing address) before completing your registration as no invoices can be adapted once they are issued. For EU companies/Institutions comply with VAT directives and to avoid any complications, please make sure your VAT number is officially recognized by the EU Taxation and Customs Union office.

 

Should your company/Institution NOT be VAT registered or your EU VAT number cannot be recognized by VIES (the EU site mentioned above), the VAT amount in your invoice won’t be refundable. Organizer cannot be held responsible for any problem you may encounter related to VAT refund or VAT number not provided.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

 Payment of registration fees (in EUR) can be made as follows:

By Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard.

By Bank Transfer: 

  • Please ensure that the name of the participant is stated on the transaction draft.
  • Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated.

An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.

 

Should you wish to upgrade your registration from ‘online” to an ‘onsite’ attendance, you will be required to pay the difference applicable based on the registration fee and category at the time the change is made.                                                                                                                         

Please note that when changing your registration category, the fee that will apply will be based on the registration fee and category applicable at the time the change is made.

 

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

An invoice will be issued as written confirmation of your registration by travel agency Urka d.o.o., on behalf of BSFG2023 Organizer.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation rules according to the General Terms and Conditions.
